We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join one of the top manufacturing companies in the Greeneville, TN area. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity and offers an excellent benefits package. Starting salary range is $80,000 to $90,000.
Job Description:Mechanical Engineer responsible for Processes, Products, Equipment, and Methods & Materials development. Specify, design, and manage the installation of capital projects to improve plant equipment and processes for increased productivity and reduced operating costs. Provide technical support to the maintenance department in the repair and modification of existing equipment, building and grounds.
Skills & Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
- 3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (Required)
- Proficient in the application and maintenance of mechanical power transmission equipment, facility auxiliary equipment, process control systems, and CAD software.
- Must be competent in the application of OSHA, EPA, and other health & safety regulations.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
