Travel Medical Assistant - Statewide | Temp​/Seasonal - Greene County,TN

Bring your MA skills directly to patients ’re hiring a Tennessee-based Medical Assistant to complete preventive-care visits while traveling throughout the state.

• Location: Greene County, TN
• Pay: $35/hour
• Type: W-2 temporary/seasonal, non-exempt
• Project: Expected through January 2027; extension is possible but not guaranteed
• Hours: Generally scheduled for full-time hours, but actual hours may vary based on patient volume and assignment needs
• Minimum: If there are not enough patients available in your area, the minimum guaranteed hours for that week is 20 hours
• Schedule: Typically 8 AM–5 PM, either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on assignment
• Travel: Throughout Tennessee, with occasional nearby-state travel as needed
• Benefits: Temporary seasonal MAs are not eligible for benefits

• Complete scheduled in-home member visits
• Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities
• Take vitals, complete screenings, and perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1
  
  Cs and UAs
• Document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR
• Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures

• Home visits will start in Greene County, TN
• You will travel throughout Tennessee based on business and patient coverage needs
• Occasional nearby-state travel will be required when coverage needs arise
• You should expect extended and overnight assignments when locations are too far for same-day travel
• Schedules are typically provided about two weeks ahead
• Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits
• Required travel time is paid
• Eligible extended travel expenses are covered, including transportation, rental car when needed, hotel, and meals

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, credential, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
• Ability to travel throughout Tennessee, complete overnight assignments, and occasionally travel to nearby states

• Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience
• Home-visit, mobile-care, field-based, or community health experience
• Experience with A1
  
  Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
• Well-Child Visit experience
