Description

INTRODUCTION:
This position reports to Assembly Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

• Assembly of fifth wheels and stationary mounts.
• Grinding.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• Ability to work with hand tools, mechanical tools and various equipment accurately and safely.
• Ability to read and write legible for inventory counts and labeling.
• Ability to work and communicate accurately with solid factual information.
• Must be an effective team member with fellow employees and follow direction from area lead and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
