Cost Financial Analyst

• Ability to manage Cost Accounting Module upkeep in Meditech.
• Ability to manage quarterly benchmarking submissions.
• Ability to work in various financial and data softwares to extract relevant data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain Cost Accounting module in Meditech
• Assist with benchmarking submissions and reporting
• Assist with maintaining stats and required reporting internally and externally
• Assist with data projects for internal and external reporting
• Assist with Internal Auditing
• Assist and provide analysis on special projects

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• 3-years previous analyst experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required
• Mandatory Annual Education
• Knowledge of finance and accounting functions
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, with advanced knowledge of excel
• Skill in analyzing financial data and preparing appropriate related reports
• Skill in identifying and resolving problems
• Skill in attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate clearly both written and oral
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload

WORK CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
:

• 7.5 hour work day - Monday through Friday.
• 1 / 4 of work day sitting to perform computer-based tasks including document processing, patient scheduling and charges, spreadsheets, internet duties and other duties.
• Vision requirements include but are not limited to close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. This may include ability to read thermometers, electronic scales, etc.
