Candidates must be trained in anxiety and mood disorders and provide individual, group, and family therapies. Experience in DBT, EMDR, Trauma, CBT and MI are highly desirable. Therapists will treat a selected caseload of female and male clients suffering from substance abuse and behavioral health issues. These clinicians must be able to perform bio-psychosocial assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary treatment and discharge planning for clients.
Close communication with family members and referents is also required.
- Master’s Degree & Current Indiana License
- At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred
- Commitment to client, family, and referent satisfaction
- Specialization in Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Addiction, Eating Disorders
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele
- Provision of individual, group, and family therapy
- Timely and complete medical record documentation
- Bio-psychosocial assessment
- Master treatment plan and discharge planning
- Participation in UR concurrent reviews as necessary
- Participation in Family Program, if needed
- Participation in Clinical On‑call Rotation
- Participation in Multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Provision of in‑service education for staff as requested
- Participation in Peer Review process
- Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and CARF accreditation regulations and standards
