Right at Home is looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic care team providing care for our clients in-home. We provide care for Seniors and Disabled Adults throughout Southeast and Northeast Indianapolis, Hamilton County and Johnson County. Experience preferred but not necessary- we will train the right candidate! Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides a plus. We are hiring immediately for weekend shifts .

Caregiver provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes.

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse.
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
  • Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to):
    • vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

• Verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment
• Dependability
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
• Communicate effectively with office staff on a weekly basis
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $15-16/hour based on experience. Opportunities available for overtime, bonuses, mileage reimbursement, PTO, and holiday pay
