Employment Consultants assist individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment, across a variety of industries from food service and retail to tech and pharmaceutical.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify job interests, skills, and goals;
- Assist individuals with preparing to enter the workforce;
- Develop employment opportunities and coordinate job placements;
- Provide on-the-job training and support;
- Identify and advocate for accommodations;
- Establish and maintain rapport with employers and support teams;
- Complete required reports and documentation.

Requirements
To be successful, you must:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Associate degree (or 2 years of credit toward an advanced degree) in human services or closely related discipline is acceptable.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, at times outside of a typical work week
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
