Parent Counselor II – Seven Hills Foundation

Overview

The Parent Counselor II role is part of a team to maximize access to childcare programs. The position is responsible for intake, eligibility determination, referrals to childcare, and maintaining accurate records.

Pay

$23.00-$24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Inform and refer parents regarding childcare options.
  • Complete parent intakes, determine eligibility, and assess fees in conjunction with the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) policy.
  • Handle reassessments, terminations, and changes within caseload.
  • Update and maintain client files.
  • Inform supervisor of parent and/or provider complaints.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree preferred;
    Child Growth and Development class required.
  • Familiarity with human service programs preferred.
  • Transportation required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and attention to detail a must.
  • Some computer knowledge, particularly data entry.
  • Ability to relate to a varied constituency.
