Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, is looking for a Custodian/Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team in Greenfield, MA.

Minimum – Midpoint – Maximum: $16.68 – $19.17 – $22.36 per hour. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees. Starting salary is typically in the lower part of the range and may vary by position and candidate experience.

Note:

The compensation ranges below represent base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Custodian/Housekeepers perform a variety of Environmental Services duties to promote cleaning and disinfection of all areas of the hospital. Incumbent is responsible for daily room turnover and terminal cleaning of specialty areas including but not limited to the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, LDRP, and office spaces. Responsibilities include removing solid waste, regulated medical waste, soiled linens, and recyclables; dusting in high and low areas;

applying finish/polish to wood and steel surfaces; and cleaning floors, baseboards, corners, and edges.

Education:

GED or HiSET.
