GREENFIELD Systems Administrator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Systems Administrator provides hardware, software, and cloud systems configuration, management, monitoring, and maintenance for the agency's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure access for hybrid staff and end-user support. This position works closely with internal and external IT positions to ensure smooth delivery of technology services and efficient issue resolution.
The Systems Administrator must be highly organized and enjoy working within a fast-paced and mission-driven organization. The ideal individual will possess strong foundational knowledge, willingness to learn new technologies and skills, and will exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written, verbal communication and administrative skills.
Associate’s degree in related fields with 3+ years of experience in systems administration strongly preferred; industry certifications but not required. Relevant experience considered in lieu of education or certification.
QualificationsComputer & Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in cloud systems management. Experience in network monitoring, patch management, disaster recovery, advanced firewall skills, Zero Trust networking principles, VPN administration, network switches, and topology. Knowledge of a variety of hardware, software, programming languages, and cloud platforms. Experience developing non-native API integrations a plus.

Skills:
Precise environment management, data entry and record-keeping, adherence to existing quality assurance and documentation standards, with great attention to detail.
Critical Thinking:
Highly adept in determining data and other information relevant to make improvements, sound decisions and problem solve in a multifaceted network environment. Ability to assess and analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Communication & Interpersonal
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills working with technical and nontechnical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Time Management & Flexibility:
Ability to meet assigned deadlines, demonstrate flexibility to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a timely manner, prioritize tasks and adjust for delays or unexpected events.
This is a 35 hour per week, full-time, on-site position requiring availability for scheduled shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in our Greenfield office. Hybrid flexibility available dependent on currently assigned tasks. Must have the ability to work in the event of an off hours emergency.
