Responsibilities- Operates a forklift truck to safely deliver materials to and from the factory
- Reads work orders and/or follows oral instructions to determine materials to be mixed for each run
- Loads/unloads materials onto or from pallets, gaylords boxes, and shelves via forklift or by hand
- Loads resins into blenders, grinders, dryers and hoppers by hand or vacuum system
- Maintains and prepares packaging supplies
- Packages all finished products ensuring correct packaging material, labels and details, per customer specification
- Handles materials and inventory control using barcode scanner
- Assists operators with stringing lines and taking rolls off machines
- Assists operators with roll data entry, roll changing, changing trim, mounting unwound rolls, cutovers and cleaning the systems
- Assists warehouse manager with monthly inventory
- Maintains confidentiality of information such as formulas, supplier names, materials, process conditions and set‑up information
- Other relevant duties as assigned
- Read a ruler and understand measurements in fractions and decimals
- Read, write and comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with workers and supervisors
- Add, subtract, divide and multiply with the aid of a calculator
- Perform calculations that include but are not limited to fractions and decimals
- Use a computer for basic data entry of production and materials in database
- High School diploma or GED (preferred)
- Prior Warehouse or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Be able to push or pull heavy objects up to 250 pounds
- Be able to work 12‑hour shifts
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Routinely stand, sit, hear, walk, and talk
- Reach, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and balance; sometimes in awkward or tight spaces
- Have good close vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
- Meet Mativ certification requirements to operate Power Industrial Trucks
- Safety shoes (steel toe or composite toe)
- Safety glasses
- Bump caps
- Protective gloves when performing certain tasks
- Hearing protection when required
- Other personal protective equipment as required for certain tasks
- Air temperatures can range from cold to hot
- Environment may contain dust, fumes and odors
- May include mechanical, electrical, chemical, explosive and radiation hazards

- The hourly rate for this role is $21.25 per hour
