Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment in Massachusetts, requiring a MA RN license and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in a general Med/Surg/Tele unit within a community hospital setting
- Patient population includes cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, opiate/alcohol withdrawal, GI issues, and more
- Unit has 43 beds with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1
- Care for patients with chest pain, post-ops, pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, flu, and a variety of other conditions
- 12-hour night shifts
- Work with a dedicated, patient-centered team
- Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering nursing care to a diverse adult population
- No on-call requirement for this assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active MA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience preferred
- Experience charting with Cerner CIS is required
