Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Per Diem)

Schedule: Per Diem | 8 or 12‑hour shifts | Rotating schedule with self‑scheduling. Requirement : work 24 hours in one month.

The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Baystate Franklin Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at The Birthplace. This is a per diem opportunity for experienced RNs looking to provide high‑quality care in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and care teams to support healthy, safe births
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and provide education and emotional support to families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in maternal‑child health nursing

• Valid Massachusetts RN license (Required)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Required, or obtained upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother‑Baby, NICU, Postpartum, or Pediatrics
