American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Psychiatric nurse for a night shift position on an adult dual-diagnosis behavioral health unit, requiring 5 years of experience and CPI certification.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required
- Current certifications: CPI and BLS
- 5 years of nursing experience preferred
- Adult Dual-Diagnosis Behavioral Health Unit within an acute general hospital
- 22-bed unit with a 1:10 patient ratio
- Treats patients with any psychiatric disorder requiring acute inpatient level of care, with a primary diagnosis other than substance use
- Night shift schedule (23:00-07:00), 5x8s, 40 hrs/week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Night shifts are staffed with 2 RNs and 2 Mental Health Counselors, with additional 1:1 coverage available as needed
- On-site support includes a Clinical Nursing Supervisor and 2 security officers
- Off-site support includes an On-Call Provider and On-Call Manager
