Sales Representative & Marketing Assistant

36‑40 hours per week, reports to Sales & Marketing Manager.

Work location:

Real Pickles facility in Greenfield, MA; may require overnight travel.

Real Pickles is a worker‑owned cooperative in Greenfield, MA, producing organic fermented vegetables from Northeast‑grown produce. Our mission is to promote human and ecological health by providing people with delicious, nourishing food and by working toward a regional, organic food system in the Northeast.

We are seeking a highly‑qualified individual, inspired by our mission and interested in exploring worker‑ownership in our co‑op, to fill this role.

The Sales Representative & Marketing Assistant supports Real Pickles sales and marketing efforts through:

• Maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting brand awareness
• Generating leads, closing deals, tracking trends, and increasing sales at current accounts via phone, email, and in‑person communication
• Handling customer service tasks such as taking orders, processing invoices, arranging shipments, and occasionally assisting with distribution and representing Real Pickles at weekend events
• Working with the Marketing Manager to create and maintain promotional materials and manage online communications, including the website, blog, and social media
• Occasional participation in public events and product demonstrations

• Previous sales and/or marketing experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• $20 per hour
