* ** GENERAL SUMMARY****:
** Responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performing functions delegated by nursing and physician staff and maintaining and promoting a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of care.  Also provides clerical support for the assigned clinic.
** MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED****:
*** High School education or equivalent.
* Currently registered with the State of Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants to be eligible for employment in the basic provider settings, or certified as one of the following:
Clinical Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant. Registry/certifications not required to be renewed after hire.
* Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred.
* Proficient data entry skills with accuracy and speed.
* Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously.
* Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient care needs.
* Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
* Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as push and pull when performing cleaning functions.
* Frequently bends, lifts, twists, reaches, and squats.
* Occasionally push/pulls and does overhead work.
