We are looking to hire a Warehouse Team Manager working 4 on – 4 off on 12‑hour shifts (18:00 – 06:00) at our Wincanton Sainsbury depot, Greenford. This is a challenging operational role and represents a great opportunity to build a career in operational management.

• Manage the shift performance of the warehouse operation and consistently meet the requirements of the Client in line with the agreed service strategy.
• Manage all warehouse shift activities to ensure that budgetary/financial KPIs, legislative, procedural and contractual commitments are met.
• Assist in developing a culture of continuous improvement to drive best‑in‑class activity and operational excellence, in line with PCDR objectives.
• Be accountable for the Health and Safety practices on site, particularly within the immediate area of responsibility.
• Ensure the warehouse shift operation operates in line with all Company and Client procedures.
• Escalate appropriate issues in line with agreed procedures.
• Assist in driving the site’s culture programme.
• Assist in ensuring that the warehouse operation’s continuity is planned and tested in the event of emergency situations.
• Establish reporting integrity of warehouse activity.
• Be responsible for the effective recruitment, development and motivation of the direct reports.

• Experience with in a similar role.
• Knowledge of working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Competency on Microsoft packages.
• Strong understanding of compliance relating to drivers.
• Team leader or management experience is desirable but not essential.
