We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established house builder delivering a large, multi-phase residential development near Bluewater, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in delivering quality new homes while developing your career within a respected and growing business.
The RoleReporting to the Site Manager and Project Team, you will assist in the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the management of subcontractors and direct labour on site
- Ensure works are completed in line with programme, drawings, specifications and company standards
- Support the Site Manager with health & safety compliance across the development
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities
- Monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Help coordinate plots through construction stages to successful handover
- Manage deliveries, logistics and site presentation
- Ensure NHBC standards and building regulations are adhered to at all times
- Support customer care and defect resolution following handovers
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation
- Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within residential house building
- Experience delivering volume housing developments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
- NHBC knowledge would be advantageous
- Salary in the region of £55,000
