Part Qualified Accountant (AAT/ACCA) Permanent | Full Time or Part Time Available Stoke-on-Trent | Hybrid Working £35,000 FTE DOE  Study Support Ready for the Next Step in Your Practice Career? We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent accountancy practice that prides itself on building long-term relationships with both its clients and employees. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join their close-knit and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys variety, values flexibility and wants to continue progressing their professional qualifications in a business that genuinely invests in its people.

The Role Working across a varied client portfolio, you'll play an important role in supporting businesses with their day-to-day accounting requirements while continuing to develop your own technical knowledge .

Responsibilities include:

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Bookkeeping and VAT returns Assisting with management accounts Preparing bank reconciliations Supporting payroll where required Drafting personal and corporation tax returns for review Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital requirements Building positive relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries Using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software About You You'll already have experience working within an accountancy practice and enjoy managing a varied workload.

You'll ideally have: AAT Qualified or ACCA Part Qualified 2-5 years' recent practice experience Strong accounts preparation skills

Experience with bookkeeping and VAT returns Good working knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting software Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach Experience preparing tax returns and payroll would be beneficial but isn't essential.
