Personal Assistant to the Port Director - part time

Are you an organised, proactive Personal Assistant who enjoys supporting senior leaders, building strong relationships and using technology to keep things running efficiently?

We are seeking a professional Personal Assistant to providd executive support for our new Port Director at King George V Dock in Glasgow, as well as the wider leadership team. This is a varied role at the heart of a busy port and logistics operation, helping to coordinate meetings, travel, events, stakeholder activity and key business priorities. This role is a part time role working 25 hours per week, based in the office 5 days per week.

Your role

You will provide high-quality executive support, manage complex diaries, arrange travel, organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, collate papers and support reports, presentations and business documents. You will also help manage correspondence, maintain accurate records, raise purchase orders and ensure day-to-day administration is handled efficiently and professionally.

As a trusted point of contact, you will work with colleagues, customers and external partners with discretion, care and attention to detail. You will use sound judgement to balance competing priorities, anticipate what is needed and use digital tools to improve coordination and make processes more efficient.
