Personal Assistant to the Port Director- Part Time
Your role
You will provide high-quality executive support, manage complex diaries, arrange travel, organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, collate papers and support reports, presentations and business documents. You will also help manage correspondence, maintain accurate records, raise purchase orders and ensure day-to-day administration is handled efficiently and professionally.
As a trusted point of contact, you will work with colleagues, customers and external partners with discretion, care and attention to detail. You will use sound judgement to balance competing priorities, anticipate what is needed and use digital tools to improve coordination and make processes more efficient.
What you'll bringYou will bring:
- PA, executive assistant or senior administrative experience in a busy organisation, ideally operating at scale and pace;
- Confidence supporting senior stakeholders, managing confidential information and coordinating a range of priorities;
- Effective organisation, adaptability and the ability to prioritise while keeping a calm, customer-focused approach;
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the business;
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with confidence using technology to plan, organise and communicate;
- Experience preparing papers, agendas, minutes, reports or presentations, and arranging travel, meetings or events.
- Discretion, attention to detail, a positive approach and the ability to contribute in a busy port environment.
