Position: Support Practitioner (Full Manual Driving Licence)

Our fantastic team in Greenock are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners. We have two part-time contracts available (30 hours per week). You don't need experience in care to start your career with us;

we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ. For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual, driving licence with a minimum of 1 years' driving experience and have access to your own car, as some of the people we support have their own mobility cars.

The Role :
Our team provides care to individuals with diverse support needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs living in their own homes in the community along with our criminal justice and forensic services. As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care.

We're looking for someone who's ready to take an active interest in the hobbies and passions of those we support. Whether it's discovering new opportunities, encouraging social connections, learning new skills or reducing isolation, you'll help individuals lead the lives they choose. To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to:
Full UK manual driving licence. Have an empathetic and caring nature. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence in using computers. Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own. Good organisational skills. Shift Patterns Our dedicated team provide 24/7 support, shifts include sleepovers and night shifts as well as earlies from 7:30am and backshifts until 8pm or 9pm, working 5 days over 7.

The role will include working weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Benefits Generous annual leave.
