Project Manager – Marine (Contract – 3 to 6 Months)

Engagement: Contract (Day Rate – Negotiable)

An established marine engineering and ship-repair organisation is seeking an experienced

Project Manager to support the delivery of high-volume, short-duration and technically complex repair and upgrade projects.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced marine environment, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, efficient and successful project execution.

• Manage multiple short-cycle projects (typically around 1 month) with high technical complexity.
• Oversee dry-dock repair and upgrade work from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
• Lead scheduling, budgeting, reporting, risk management and problem-solving activities.
• Maintain safety, quality and regulatory compliance across all project phases.

• Proven background as a Project Manager within marine, ship repair, dry-dock, offshore, or oil & gas sectors.
• Applicants from construction backgrounds will also be considered if experienced in complex, engineering-driven projects.
• Strong communication and contractor-management skills.
• Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines.
• Duration: 3–6 months (potential extension)
• Day Rate: Negotiable
• Location: Ideally based at or able to commute to Greenock
