North or Midlands (Field-Based) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000  Uncapped Bonus  Car Allowance  Excellent Benefits Lead a High-Performing Regional Sales Team Our client is a leading national organisation within the procurement and hospitality sector, supporting thousands of businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing field-based sales team.

Reporting to the Customer Development Director, you'll take ownership of a region, leading a team of Procurement Managers and Procurement Executives while driving commercial growth, customer retention and exceptional service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field sales leader who enjoys developing people, building successful teams and delivering outstanding commercial results.

The Role You'll be responsible for leading a team of approximately 5-10 field-based sales professionals , providing ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to maximise individual and team performance. Alongside developing your team, you'll also manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, building strong commercial relationships and identifying opportunities for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of field-based sales professionals. Create a high-performance culture focused on customer growth, retention and service excellence. Conduct regular field coaching, one-to-one meetings and performance reviews. Support your team with customer meetings, negotiations and commercial opportunities. Drive new business growth while increasing engagement across existing customer accounts. Manage a portfolio of strategic customer relationships.

Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional sales and performance targets. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Analyse regional performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability. Recruit, mentor and develop future talent within the team. About You We're looking for an inspirational sales leader with experience managing successful field-based teams. You'll have:
Proven experience leading and developing field-based sales teams. A strong coaching and mentoring style with a passion for developing people. A successful track record of achieving sales, growth and retention targets.

Experience with in hospitality, catering, food service, procurement or a related commercial sector. Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth. A collaborative leadership style and genuine passion for helping others succeed. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout your region.
