Resident Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Resident Systems Specialist to join our team. This position is based in Greensboro, NC, and will report to the Resident Systems Manager. This role works in conjunction with Operations, Compliance, and Housing Agencies throughout our portfolio to ensure accuracy of our residents’ rent and subsidy ledgers.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite proficiency including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task within specific time constraints
• Ability to work with other team members
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts
• Prior experience in Res Man software or other property management systems a plus
• Prior experience with Section 8, Rural Development, and Tax Credit programs a plus

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage Section 8 renewals, adjustments, and terminations
• Review resident ledgers and make corrections
• Communicate with Site Managers, Property Managers, and Housing Agencies
• Run monthly aged receivable reports
• Complete special projects requested by supervisor
