Data Center Construction Scheduler - Charleston, South Carolina

Arcadis is a leading sustainable design and engineering company. We’re seeking an experienced construction scheduler to join our data center team in Charleston, South Carolina.

Role Overview

As a Scheduler, you will utilize your project controls experience and construction scheduling expertise to develop detailed, resource‑loaded schedules for data center and large capital construction projects. You will analyze critical path updates, coordinate dependencies, and communicate schedule progress to project managers, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Create detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic‑driven schedules.
  • Analyze critical path updates, schedule progress, and evaluate schedule options.
  • Coordinate and negotiate project schedules and dependencies to meet client outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving challenges and conflicts.
  • Participate in schedule and budget review meetings at construction sites or client facilities.
  • Collect and record real‑time schedule and performance data, including installed quantities and labor hours.
  • Provide detailed reports and support project action requests.
  • Build positive relationships with Arcadis teams, client teams, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in project scheduling, ideally with data center or large capital construction projects.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in a client‑representative or on‑site team is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Professional certification such as PSP or PMI‑SP is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $68,187 – $112,509. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program, and optional wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement. Nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO accrue per year.
