• Pitches, writes, shoots, interviews, and edits stories for TV and digital platforms.

• Experience:
  
  Television news reporting – 3+ years.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field; or comparable television work experience.
• Technical skills:
  Ability to shoot videos, understand video editing software, and use social media effectively.
• Communication skills:
  Effective on‑camera presence, clear written and verbal expression.
• Physical ability:
  Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Travel:
  Open to travel to discover important stories in the neighborhood and interact with the community.
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and during breaking news or severe weather events.
• Valid driver’s license for authorized driving in the state of residence.

• Experience working in a 24‑hour news channel.

• Work inside a climate‑controlled environment and outside throughout the year, possibly facing extreme heat or cold.
