Treatment Coordinator

Overall Responsibility

The Treatment Coordinator is essential to ensuring patients receive a 5‑star experience. They are responsible for providing excellent patient care that begins with the initial phone call, and includes managing multiple provider schedules, enforcing patient financial obligations, and assisting with dental insurance details related to treatment planning case acceptance.

• Manage a multi-line phone system and greet patients warmly
• Schedule and confirm appointments for dentists and hygienists
• Keep all provider schedules filled and organized
• Manage the check‑in/check‑out process with patients
• Collect and post payments while following company financial policies
• Review treatment plans and explain insurance coverage and out‑of‑pocket costs to patients
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility and update information in Denticon
• Accurately enter and update patient info in Denticon
• Keep the front office and lobby tidy and welcoming
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive office environment
• Other duties as assigned

• 1–2 years of dental front office experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and team‑player mentality
• Proficiency with computers and practice management software (Denticon experience a plus)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs.
