Join a growing group of Community Gastroenterology Physicians dedicated to high-quality patient care.
Practice Expansion- The Community GI team is expanding to new medical office locations in Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2026
- 2 Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers (ASCs) in Guilford County
- 2 hospital locations:
High Point Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Collaborative relationship with 20+ faculty physicians at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC
- Office/Clinic
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Endoscopy
Hours:
7:00 AM–4:00 PM (based on location)
- Hybrid Case Model
- GI physician assigned to hospital consults
- Supported by a dedicated inpatient APP
- Procedure Mix
- Outpatient hospital cases
- Inpatient cases in a dedicated endoscopy department
- Procedures Performed:
Full range of GI Endoscopy (Upper e.g., EGD and Lower e.g., Colonoscopy)
- Procedure Days: 15+ patients/day
- Clinic Sessions: 7–10 patients/session
- 1:6 nights/weekends at High Point Medical Center
- Daytime hospital work partially covered by a dedicated GI hospitalist
- Call will be equally distributed as the group expands
- Generates draft patient notes
- Streamlines clinical workflows
- Enhances efficiency in review, editing, and signature
- EPIC EMR for streamlined patient management
- Leverage DAX Copilot, an AI‑powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic
- A physician‑led medical group
- Embedded service line support
- Be part of an integrated, nationally recognized organization with:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for prescription writing required.
