The Department of Population Health Management & Policy (PHMP), within the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences, seeks an assistant/associate professor whose teaching and research agenda is focused on healthcare administration, public or population health, or a closely related area. The primary purpose is to provide student‑centered teaching and clinical instruction of undergraduate and graduate‑level courses, offer student advising and mentoring, recruit students, develop curriculum, and engage in program assessment and accreditation procedures.
Faculty in this role will:
- Lead student advising and mentoring.
- Recruit students and develop curricula.
- Participate in program assessment and accreditation activities.
- Support student projects and research.
- Establish and sustain a strong externally‑funded research program in their field of expertise.
- Produce an excellent record of scholarly publications.
- Incorporate modern pedagogical skills in healthcare management/administration courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Supervise and support student projects.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and community or professional organizations.

Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Health Services Administration or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of teaching experience; at least 2 years of leadership experience; demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships across disciplines and with external health care organizations; record of research and publications.
