Elon University School of Law welcomes applications for a long-term contract faculty position in our Legal Method and Communication (LMC) program. LMC integrates coverage of fundamental legal analysis and writing skills with other lawyering communication skills, over three trimesters. Based in our Greensboro, North Carolina location, the position will start in Summer 2026.
Elon Law is recognized for innovation in legal education through a highly experiential, full-time 2.5-year curriculum that has led to increases in applications, selectivity, bar passage rates, post-graduate placement and diversity. We seek a colleague who is eager to contribute to our mission: blending strong classroom instruction with experiential learning to fully equip a vibrant generation of practice-ready law graduates, while pursuing forward-looking scholarship and embracing excellence in teaching, mentoring, service and scholarship.
Required qualifications include a J.D. or equivalent law degree, outstanding academic credentials, substantive practice experience, and admission with good standing to practice.
