The Department of Biology invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025, summer 2025, or spring 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department of Biology. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory and advanced‑level biology courses, delivered face‑to‑face and/or online.
- Participate in academic advising and student organization support.
- Contribute to program development and assessment.
- Work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
This position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
Qualifications- Minimum: MS or PhD in Biology or a related field.
- Preferred:
Teaching experience at the university or community‑college level.
