The Department of Counseling invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for Spring 2026 or Summer 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach Counseling courses.

Part‑Time Instructor | Counseling

• Teach introductory and advanced level courses face‑to‑face or online.
• Attend training and/or review sessions.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Support student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment.
• Work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

• An earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision, or a closely related field, from a CACREP accredited institution.

• Minimum 1‑3 years teaching experience at the university or community college level.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
