Position Overview
The Landscape Architecture Program is accepting applications for Part‑Time Instructors. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach landscape architecture courses delivered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design. The maximum teaching load varies from 1–2 courses per semester.
Responsibilities- Teach face‑to‑face landscape architecture courses.
- Participate in data collection and assessment of student learning.
- Submit teaching materials as part of semester review.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline with at least one professional degree in landscape architecture at the time of application.
Preferred:
Candidates with 1–3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
