Coordinator of Orientation and Transition Programs

The Coordinator of Orientation and Transition Programs supports the planning, coordination, implementation, and assessment of programs that assist new students and their families in successfully transitioning to North Carolina A&T State University. The position coordinates key operational and programmatic components of new student orientation, transition programming, student-leader recruitment and development, family engagement, and related first-year initiatives. The Coordinator assists with orientation registration and communications, program logistics, student-leader training, campus partner coordination, and data collection.

The position works collaboratively with the Director of Orientation and New Student Programs, departmental staff, student leaders, and university partners to deliver organized, engaging, and student-centered transition experiences.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
