Sargent is hiring a Field Engineer to support digital layout, survey data, and GPS modeling for projects across North Carolina. This role requires hands-on field support and occasional travel.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage digital survey models
Transfer GPS and CAD data to/from field teams
Assist with layout, calibration, and survey setup
Support drone aerial surveys (Part 107 license required or obtainable)
Create digital as-builts and closeout documentation
Provide field tech support for Trimble and AutoCAD
What You’ll NeedHigh school diploma (required); degree preferred
3+ years in construction, layout, or surveying
Experience with AutoCAD and Trimble
OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license
Strong field communication and organization skills
