Collections Specialist

Overview

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collections Specialist to join a local Triad based firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, contacting customers regarding past-due balances, and working to resolve outstanding payments in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple accounts.

• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts through phone, email, and mail
• Negotiate payment arrangements that maintain positive customer relationships
• Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely collections
• Accurately record and update account information in the system
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
• Prepare reports on collection activity, outstanding accounts, and payment trends
• Adhere to company policies, legal guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Escalate accounts to management or external agencies when necessary
