LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of a growing and reputable organization in the Triad region of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years accounting & reporting experience and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Support accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements
• Manage monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
• Oversee general accounting functions and support team development
• Maintain and update recurring monthly journal entries
• Assist with annual audit preparation and communication with external CPA partners
• Contribute to financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger processes
• Experience in public accounting a plus
• Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
