LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of a growing and reputable organization in the Triad region of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years accounting & reporting experience and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our client offers an employee-oriented and collaborative environment and a clear path for advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Support accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements
- Manage monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Oversee general accounting functions and support team development
- Maintain and update recurring monthly journal entries
- Assist with annual audit preparation and communication with external CPA partners
- Contribute to financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger processes
- Experience in public accounting a plus
- Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
