Cast Technician – Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist

This full‑time position is located in Greensboro, North Carolina within the Orthopedics division of the Wake Forest Health Network. The role requires travel to multiple clinic locations to provide staffing coverage and must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the flexibility to adjust schedules based on clinic needs.

Pay range: $20.40 – $30.60 per hour.

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred: Previous medical experience in cast and splint application and removal.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and departments.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.

• Apply and remove casts and splints according to guidelines.
• Maintain cast room inventory and supplies.
• Prepare the work area, ensuring casting and splinting materials are ready and the cast room remains in a functional state.
• Record and maintain information according to procedures for accurate departmental records.
• Complete patient encounter forms indicating services performed.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Location:

Greensboro, North Carolina.

Full time – 40 hours per week.

Travel required – reliable transportation and valid driver’s license necessary.
