Position: Radiologic CT Technologist Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates
Radiologic Computed Tomography Technologist

The Radiologic Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and diagnostic imaging examinations. Working under direct supervision, this position utilizes specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Performs routine and specialized CT and diagnostic exams following established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose, while maintaining exam productivity within benchmarks.

Follows physician instructions regarding the imaging area of the patient's body.

Communicates with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and reduce anxiety.

Positions patients correctly and adjusts imaging equipment to produce quality images of specific body parts.

Reviews patient medical histories to determine appropriate imaging parameters for accurate results.

Operates and maintains advanced CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular maintenance checks for reliable imaging.

Records and documents all scans and related information in the Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), verifying charges and resolving discrepancies.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent;
Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration

Required:

BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider. Acceptable Licenses:

ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT)
NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT)
Combination: ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT), ORCNMT and ARRT(CT), ORARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT), ORARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT)
