Coordinator Support Associate (FT, rotating weekends)

Join Tiger Bio Sciences in Greensboro, N.C. as a full‑time Coordinator Support Associate who works rotating weekends. This fast‑paced, autonomous role requires a detail‑oriented individual who can thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

As a CSA you will support the daily operations of our lab and donation program, maintain supply inventory, organize the workspace, and ensure all routine laboratory checks are completed accurately and on schedule. The position also involves handling human tissue, performing tissue evaluations as part of regulated wet‑lab procedures, and following SOPs and WIs with precision.

Candidates must be able to work weekends and will spend two weeks in Winston‑Salem, N.C. for hands‑on training. Additional physical requirements include lifting 30 pounds, standing or sitting for extended periods, and maintaining sterility and cleanliness.

• Understand and comply with privacy rules and regulations.
• Perform tasks overseen and/or regulated by the AATB, FDA, and applicable state and federal agencies.
• Follow Company standard operating procedures and training related to identifying potential donors, obtaining informed consent, performing tissue acquisition/collection procedures, and maintaining hospital relations.
• Complete hospital orientation and credentialing processes.
• Obtain blood specimens from hospital staff, document and maintain chain‑of‑custody.
• Obtain pertinent patient medical records.
• Perform hands‑on aseptic placenta tissue acquisition procedures, including presence in the operating room when applicable.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all activities.
• Label, package, and ship tissue and lab specimens.
• Review records and forms for completion and accuracy.
• Record temperatures and maintain temperature records.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment.
• Support PDC and perform record‑keeping, facility maintenance, tissue storage, inventory management, and receipt/stocking of supplies.

• Two years of clinical background experience (e.g., CST, RN, CTBS) or equivalent tissue banking experience.
• Associate degree preferred (Life Sciences, Biology, or Nursing).
• Successful completion of background and reference checks, drug screening, and periodic re‑testing.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and good documentation practices.
• Ability to perform aseptic tissue acquisition procedures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 30 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional bedside manner required.
• Effective communication skills with patients, hospital staff, and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
