Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced ultrasound imaging procedures focused on obstetrics and gynecology, providing critical diagnostic information to support patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques, with a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.
Duties- Conduct detailed obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, including fetal assessments and anatomical surveys.
- Utilize sonography equipment to produce high‑quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Apply aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infection during procedures.
- Interpret ultrasound images in conjunction with physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging results and patient information in medical records.
- Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions with clear communication skills.
- Collaborate with providers in the office to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment calibration and cleanliness.
- Proven experience or training in sonography, particularlychau within maternal‑fetal medicine or OB/GYN specialties.
- Must be ARDMS in OBGYN.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including ultrasound technology and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to interpret medical images accurately and contribute to diagnostic processes.
- Knowledge of patient care standards, ensuring compassionate support throughout procedures.
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
