Early Talent Program Engagement Coordinator

Greensboro, NC, 27409 | Pay range: $22 to $25/hr
Purpose: The Early Talent Program Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of early talent initiatives that attract, engage, and retain emerging professionals. This role works closely with the Early Talent Program Manager and broader talent acquisition team to coordinate logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement for events and recruitment activities. The Coordinator ensures a seamless experience for interns, candidates, and internal stakeholders by managing tactical operations and serving as a reliable point of contact throughout the early talent lifecycle.
Accountabilities- Collaborate with the Early Talent Program Manager to deliver high-impact engagement activities for interns and early career candidates.
- Create and manage email lists, invitations, and follow-ups for events such as employer panels, intern sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Serve as an alternate point of contact for resolving event-related issues and inquiries.
- Organize logistics for external career events and develop timelines and strategies for virtual engagements.
- Support scheduling and communications for early talent events with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with onboarding coordination for interns, including hiring manager follow-ups and communication support.
- Contribute to recruitment, stakeholder management, and academic outreach efforts as needed.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within North America
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
- Exposure to working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in corporate university relations, campus recruiting, early careers, or learning & development programs teams.
- Familiarity with university engagement tactics / higher education landscape preferred.
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems preferred.
- Experience of using all Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel and Outlook.
- Desirable Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ideally Smart Recruiters), and other HRIS (Workday), CRM (Beamery, Avature, etc.).
- Invoice processing, tracking of expenses in relation to the Academic Partnerships Program
