The Role at a Glance:
As Lincoln continues in its technological transformation, the IT Business to Business (B2B) Team provides Lincoln’s Business partners with data for informed operational and strategic decisions. The B2B Team is seeking an ETL Programmer to expand data processes, extract creation, and evolve data-driven insights. You will participate in the end-to-end data extraction lifecycle: gathering requirements, optimizing ETL code, writing and standardizing SQL for data delivery, and creating customer-facing dashboards.
As a technical partner and analyst, you will work with other ETL developers, systems analysts, systems owners, and stakeholders to develop a strong data foundation.
- Create customer-facing data extracts, gathering metadata to support B2B reporting, including project management, team collaboration, and creating/revising SQL, coding and processing standards.
- Expand technical and design skillsets with IDMC training, SQL Server training, and mentoring to support expansion of data extractions and file transmission processes.
- Automate data extraction from various sources, perform data wrangling to transform data, and transfer to and from an AWS Cloud environment.
- Document created data flows and data definitions, and communicate these efficiently with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, and objectives; evaluate data’s current state and provide feedback to create efficient ETL processes.
- Work with the team to ensure quality objectives are met for all requirements.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of Business to Business (B2B) experience
- 3+ years experience creating DTCC Feeds
- 11+ years experience in Informatica ETL
- 3+ years SQL Server Database experience
- 3+ years Teradata experience
- Understanding of testing concepts related to functional, non-functional, and performance
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new skills
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Nice-to-have:
- Database Management
- Python/Perl
- SQL
- Experience interpreting COBOL documentation and pulling data from mainframe sources
- ETL/data wrangling experience

Pay range: $69,000 – $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and may vary otherwise. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors and is one component of Lincoln’s total rewards.
