The Role at a Glance

This position will serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including Solar Winds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager).

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead engineering and administrative work associated with Enterprise Monitoring tools and capability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including Solar Winds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
  • Provide direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of the system.
  • Configure, install, maintain and perform upgrades to server applications and hardware.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
  • Provide direction and guidance for the organization’s information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
What we’re looking for

Must Haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Information Technology
  • 5 – 7+ Years experience in IT infrastructure administration with Solar Winds and SCOM.

Nice to Haves:

  • Certification in Solar Winds.

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.

The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
