The Role at a Glance

This position will serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including Solar Winds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager).

What you'll be doing
  • Lead engineering and administrative work associated with Enterprise Monitoring tools and capability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including Solar Winds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of the system.
  • Configures, installs, maintains and performs upgrades to server applications and hardware
  • Applies advanced knowledge to configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software
  • Provides direction and guidance for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices
What we’re looking for

Must Haves:

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Information Technology
  • 5 – 7+ Years experience in IT infrastructure administration with Solar Winds and SCOM.

Nice to Haves:

  • Certification in Solar Winds.
