Zscaler Security Engineer (OT)

Contract

• Design, implement, and manage ZPA and ZIA solutions to secure OT assets and ensure seamless access for authorized users.
• Configure and optimize Zscaler policies to protect OT environments from external threats while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Identity and Access Management, Network Operations, Firewall) to fulfill access requests and enhance functionality of Zscaler components.
• Present to non-technical teams to explain the benefits of Zscaler Private Access, addressing concerns and demonstrating how it enhances security and accessibility.
• Collaborate with various teams to design and implement strategies for integrating Zscaler solutions into existing environments.
• Monitor Zscaler performance and security incidents, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on Zscaler best practices and usage.
• Stay updated on the latest Zscaler features and cybersecurity trends, contributing to continuous improvement of security processes and policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Expert‑level knowledge and experience with Zscaler solutions, specifically ZPA and ZIA, in securing OT environments.
• Deep knowledge of network integrations, firewall traffic and rule analysis, identity management, and zero trust network access.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse cultures and present complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
