Data Analytics Engineer (Direct-Hire / FTE)

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their IT team in a direct-hire (FTE) capacity. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics and will play a key role in executing a well‑defined analytics roadmap, including building a centralized reporting and forecasting platform using AWS technologies (S3, Redshift, and Quick Sight) to support business decision‑making.

The foundational architecture is already in place, tools have been selected, and multiple projects are lined up. This role is about strong execution, collaboration, and delivery.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models aligned with business needs
• Develop and support automated data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading
• Work with AWS S3 as the data lake layer
  , transforming data downstream using Redshift and Quick Sight
• Implement data quality checks and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Support and enhance reporting and forecasting solutions for business users
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business process owners
• Document data models, pipelines, and transformations for long‑term usability
• Identify and resolve data‑related issues efficiently and effectively
• Execute against an established roadmap, delivering high‑quality work on time

• Strong AWS experience required
  , including S3, Redshift, and Quick Sight
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional)
• Hands‑on experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages
• Strong understanding of data quality best practices
• Experience working with BI tools and analytics platforms
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work quickly and efficiently
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders
• Team‑oriented mindset with solid project management skills

• Master’s in Applied Data Analytics preferred
