About the Role:

Job Title: Field Service Technician

Description:

This role is for a Field Service Technician specializing in Indigo Digital Printing Presses. In this role, you’ll be the face for our customers, delivering exceptional on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up Indigo Digital Printing presses, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Educate customers on proper usage, color management, and best practices.
• Follow installation and escalation plans to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential issues before they impact operations.
• Provide clear updates, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Skills

• Technical Expertise:
  Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of digital printing press technology

Education

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
• Typical candidate possesses 4-6 years in field service, technical support, or printing press repair.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $50,000– $52,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, 5 personal days accrued each calendar year (paid time off benefits comply with applicable laws), 1015 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per calendar year, Ascendion Learning Management System.
