About the Department

The ERP Business Analyst supports enterprise software solutions that enable daily operations across the City of Greensboro. The team focuses on system reliability, data integrity, workflow optimization, and user adoption—ensuring technology aligns with how the City actually works.

This role plays a key part in bridging technical systems with operational needs.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Serve as a key liaison between business users and ERP systems
  • Provide routine operational support, maintenance, and system configuration
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data and workflow issues of intermediate complexity
  • Gather, audit, and validate data to ensure accuracy and system integrity
  • Research, analyze, and present business solutions aligned with organizational needs
  • Troubleshoot ERP application issues and guide users through effective resolutions
  • Develop and deliver procedural documentation and staff training
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while controlling scope and requirements changes
  • Communicate clearly through written documentation and oral presentations to individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with diverse teams using strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills

Experience with
Docu Sign is preferred and will support enterprise process automation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in the Information technology field
    • Or 8 years of experience in the Information technology field
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office—assessment may be given
  • Experience working with a cloud‑based ERP platform
  • Experience using report‑writing software
  • Experience administering Docu Sign
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a government environment
  • Experience using Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM) and Human Resource Talent (HRT) applications
  • Experience with report writing tools, such as SQL Reporting Services
